Attock City Junction Railway Station

Attock City Railway Station is located in Attock district in main line one. Attock Railway Station is built in 1881. This Railway Station is very old. The building of this Railway Station is beautifully constructed. The area of this Railway Station is huge. Attock Railway Station has tuc shop and an office and a ticket ghar. There are two also a huge platform at this station.

There are also very beautiful benches arranged at this Railway Station which bring comfort to the passengers .There is a mosque near the Attock Railway Station which does not pose any problem for passengers to pray. Attock Railway Station also has a turntable . The table is manual and the engine of this train is brought to this table when the direction is to be changed, then the locker is rotated on it.

There is also a loco shed built at this Railway Station where engine maintenance and haling is done. At this Railway Station, gatherings of literary people are organized in the evening. Many Railway Stations in Pakistan also have automatic turntables. There are also quarters for the employees. There is also a park next to this Railway station which is known as Railway Park in Attock City and it features swings and boats and a model ship for children. But now this park is named after Isfandyar Bukhari Shaheed. People enjoy the beauty and breathtaking views of this park. From this Railway Station, lines go to Peshawar, Rawal Pindi, Multan and Jand.
