Kutbal Railway Station is located in Kutbal, a village in Fateh Jang Tehsil, Attock District, Punjab Province, Pakistan. This railway station was built around 1910 during the British rule. Kutbal Railway Station is located between Fateh Jang Railway Station and Tarnool Railway Station.
Kutbal is a historical village of Fateh Jang tehsil which is famous for its Sikh and Hindu era buildings. It was an important trading center during the Sikh rule over Punjab and was also famous for Hindu merchants, who controlled business in Fateh Jang and other towns of Attock district.
After independence, Hindus and Sikhs migrated to India. Today the village is mainly inhabited by Khattar, Mughal, Awan and other castes. The population of the village is around 5000, as confirmed by the religious leader of the village, Qazi Arif Sahib.
Some of the monuments built during the Sikh and British periods still grace the landscape of Kutbal.
Kutbal Railway Station The station is an abandon railway station. The condition of this railway station has deteriorated. There are few rooms in the building of this railway station which include station master office, ticket ghar and waiting room etc. The building of this railway station was constructed of old stone bricks and was painted white inside and outside, but now no white color is visible. The building of this railway station is completely dilapidated. Kutbal railway station has only one platform and one main line. There are a lot of trees around this railway station, including huge banyan trees, these banyan trees cover the building.
